In the early 2000s female rappers out of Florida were coming into their own  First there was Trina from Miami and then in 2002, Khia dropped the single My Neck, My Back, (Lick It) from her re-released 2001 debut album Thug Misses. Reissued on pink 7-inch vinyl with a club remix on the B-side.
