Mothership Connection (LP)

George Clintion and Parliament's Mothership Connection was a massive inspiration to the G-Funk sound that can be heard on Dr. Dre's production on N.W.A.'s 2nd album and The Chronic as well as Cold 187um's production on Above The Law's Black Mafia Life album which some might say was the precursor to The Chronic. Keys, guitar riffs, horns, basslines, drums and George Clinton's vocals can be found on tons of classic 90s Hip-Hop from both coasts.  The Mothership Connection has been cited on multiple "Greatest Albums of All Time' lists and was added to The Library of Congress National Recording Registry in 2011.
